OAKS, CA--April. 1, 2007—Stone Creek LandWorks announced today that they have
signed a contract with Schneider Construction of Thousand Oaks, California to construct
a themed waterfall rock formation sculpture at the The Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, California. The Native American themed project will feature a larger than life bronze Native American Indian titled "In Praise of the Great Spirit"
sculpted by renown artist, DeLesprie of Westlake Village, CA. The majestic bronze is posed atop a naturalistic rock outcropping surrounded by animated water jets and fog. Water will fall at various heights from the rock formation, designed and sculpted by Vic Perederi of Stone Creek LandWorks, down to the ground below where fountain jets will dance to music and children will play during hot summer days.
The
fountain is located in the newly remodeled Mervyns / Buca De Beppo plaza at the focal point of the
455,968 square foot mall developed by NewMark Merrill of Los Angeles, California. “We are excited to be a
part of such an exciting entertainment project in our own home town,” said Victor Perederi, Vice President of Stone
Creek LandWorks. “We have been
involved in various capacities with other projects by DeLesprie and James Dean, the projects landscape architect, like The Grove at Farmers Market and share the same uncompromising level of commitment to quality
